VTC Baspik produces microchannel plates, including those with ultra-small channel diameter
High resolution MCPs with 3 µm channel diameter ideally suit for time-of-flight mass-spectrometry enhancing timing response. The enterprise plans to develop MCPs with 2 µm channel diameter in 2019.

Center-hole MCPs are used in linear reflectron time-of-flight mass-spectrometry.The laser is pulsed through the MCP’s center hole, while the outer edges capture particles.
