Basic application of Microchannel plates (MCPs) is Night Vision Technique. MCP is the main element of an Image Intensifier Tube (IIT), which is in its turn the primary element of a Night vision device (NVD). Therefore, the performance of a NVD greatly depends on MCP characteristics. LLC "BASPIK" produces Microchannel Plates of different configurations: round, square, rectangular, with center hole, having 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 μm pores. Channel diameter spread is not higher than 1.3%

Secondary electron multipliers (SEMs) are well known in experimental physics. SEM is an electron multiplier / electron compact device intended for amplification (multiplication) of electron flows based on secondary-electron emission. SEM detects efficiently particles with the energy of about 102 – 105eV, UV, X-ray radiations.
